Dear clients and colleagues,
2014 has been an exciting and turbulent year for the world of health insurance and employee benefits. Over the last twelve months we have seen the kind of change in our industry that usually happens over maybe a 10 year period! At times, I must admit, it was pretty scary. But, we were not in it alone, as you have all had to face confusion, plan design change, price changes and increases, keeping your plan or not, dropping coverage or going to the exchange. So confusing! In order to rise to this challenge and to best serve our clients – YOU, we have seriously stepped up to the plate!! Here’s some of the fun we have had over the last 12 months:
- Grew from 3 employees to 8! Welcoming Kristin Kennedy DuVal, a seasoned Employee Benefits Consultant, Meghan Smith a Worksite Wellness Guru and Benefits Services Specialist, Ryan Wood, a Client Services Specialist, Susan Haarmann, an Accounting and Benefits Service Specialist, and Tasha Byrd, a Payroll Specialist. Brandi, Kellie and I are thrilled to work with such a great team of customer focused industry experts!
- Officially launched DDI Admin, LLC, our Third Party Benefits and Payroll Administration / Outsourcing services, which Dena and Kellie Chauncey-Lance have partnered to offer to a handful of clients over the last few years but now are offering to companies of all sizes. Welcomed great new clients like Oil Can Henry’s!
- Expanded new services like payroll, benefits administration, ACA Compliance consulting, and online HR systems.
- Purchased, remodeled and moved to a new office building in Northeast Portland Sullivan’s Gulch neighborhood… loving all the visitors!
- Met one to one with hundreds of new individuals to help get health insurance during open enrollment.
