Medicare D Disclosure to CMS
Entities that provide prescription drug coverage to Medicare Part D eligible individuals must disclose to CMS whether the coverage is “creditable prescription drug coverage”. Creditable Coverage Disclosure is due to CMS 60 days after the beginning date of the Plan Year – remember to submit your creditable coverage status by using the online form which can be found here.

ACA Reporting deadline dates for 2018 – Employers with 50+ employees…
Every year, the IRS requires employers with 50+ employees to submit important ACA information to the agency and their employees. Here are some important dates to keep in mind for successful ACA compliance and submitting ACA information for the 2018 tax year to the IRS to avoid being assessed penalties.
- February 1, 2019—Employers may start receiving exchange notices related to the 2018 tax year.
- February 28, 2019—Deadline to file 1094-C/1095-C schedules if paper filing.
- March 4, 2019 (Previously January 31,2019)—IRS deadline to furnish 1095-c schedules for 2018 employees.
- April 1, 2019—Deadline to file 1094-C/1095-C schedules if electronic filing.
- April 15, 2019—Individual tax returns for 2018 are due.
- July 31, 2019—Form 720 (PCORI) for 2018 due from self-insured plans (includes self-insured employers).
- August 1, 2019—Late filing deadline for annual IRS information filing for ACA.
- November 1, 2019—This is the typical start of individuals enrolling on the federal exchange for coverage starting on January 1 of the following year.
